HBHS 1st XI Hockey team win Super 8 title

Last week the Hockey Super 8 Tournament was contested, and the HBHS 1st XI Hockey team came through unbeaten to win the Super 8 title in what was a relatively comfortable 4 - 1 victory over New Plymouth.  The full list of results is as follows and we congratulate our 1st XI Hockey players and coaches Mr Richard Petherick and Mr Steve Smith on their win.

Gisborne Boys' High School:  HBHS won 19 - 0

Napier Boys' High School:  HBHS won 3 - 1

Hastings Boys' High School:  HBHS drew 0 - 0

Palmerston North Boys' High School (semi-final):  HBHS won 3 - 1

New Plymouth Boys' High School (final):  HBHS won 4 - 1
