HBHS 1st XI Football Team Qualify for Nationals

The HBHS 1st XI had to win their match against Rotorua Boys' High School yesterday, and they did it in fine style with an emphatic 6 - 0 victory over Rotorua Boys' High School in what were very trying conditions.  This means the team have qualified for the National Secondary Schools Championships to be held next term, and ensures that they will be seeded highly, thus aiding their chances of progressing in the tournament.  Congratulations to the team on this excellent win, and thanks and congratulations to team coaches Mr Aaron Scott and Mr Paul Nixon for all of their hard work with the team.
