Good luck to our rowers in the Great Race this weekend

This weekend all eyes will be on the Waikato River as crews compete in the Great Race Regatta.  Earlier this week, HBHS hosted the University of Cambridge rowing crew and students had the opportunity to talk with the rowers and hear about their experiences at one of the most prestigious universities in the world.  The HBHS crew will compete on Saturday to qualify for the secondary schools race on Sunday, so check out Sky TV's coverage of the event or head along to the event and cheer our rowers on.  We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our rowing Old Boys Caleb Shepherd and Shaun Kirkham who recently qualified for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics as members of the Men's Eight crew.  We very much look forward to cheering them on as they go for Olympic gold.
