Gillette Cup Cricket Update Day 1

Our 1st XI Cricket team have made a very good start to their campaign at the Gillette Cup Tournament.  They faced off against early favourites Christchurch Boys' High School who set them 232 to win, a target HBHS chased down with an over and a half to spare.  Star performers with the bat were Jake Russ, who was on target for a century but let a straight delivery through on 88, and Andrew Carney, who hit the winning runs.  We will keep you posted on updates, and it is very clear that they have better weather down south!
