Gifted and Talented Week

It's Gifted and Talented Students Week and the celebration of all things able began with a quiz in the Study Centre at lunchtime today.  The Junior ALP classes were battling for bragging rights as teams competed in a quiz that tested their knowledge and abilities across a wide range of subjects.  The categories included literature, sport, science, general knowledge, music and maths and teams selected a round where their points were doubled.  Final scores had 912 and 913 tied for 6th place, 914 in 5th, 1013 in 4th, 1014 in 3rd, 911 in second place, and first by quite a margin were 1011.  Congratulations to the teams who competed so enthusiastically and thanks to the Academic Committee and Director of Advanced Learning Ms Charlotte Warren for their efforts in organising the competition.  Keep an eye out for more events, including a best Tutor Group competition which is running all week.
