Double win for HBHS at Waikato Secondary Schools Triathlon Competition

On Wednesday 11 March the HBHS Triathlon team headed to Lake Karapiro to compete in the Waikato Secondary Schools Triathlon Championships, and came away with two wins and a second place in the Under 16 and Under 19 event.  Congratulations to Leon Arcus on winning the Under 19 race, and to Bradley Cullen who came first in the Under 16 event, followed by Sam Cook who finished second.  The races consisted of a 500m swim, a 17km cycle and a 4km run.  Thanks to Mrs Nicola Coates for her support of HBHS Multi-Sport.
