Cross Country Team wins medals at New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships

The HBHS Cross Country team headed to Christchurch last weekend to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships and have returned with a collection of solid results.  Isaiah Priddey finished second in the Senior Boys race and was a scant metre behind the winner, having effectively run a two person race for the entire event.  This result, along with those achieved by Patrick Dowd and Connor Tristram, secured a third place for our three man Senior team.  Our Junior Boys three man team of Blake Wisnewski,  Kalyan Gujju and Ollie Foote finished in fifth place overall.  Congratulations to the team on their efforts and thanks to Teacher in Charge of Cross Country Ms Tonia Heeps for her support of HBHS running.
