Codi Merito shines on the world BMX stage

HBHS Old Boy Codi Merito was recently selected as one of two Junior Elite Riders for BMX New Zealand and last weekend raced at the World Championships in Belgium.  Codi, along with 2012 Olympic Silver Medalist Sarah Walker who won bronze in her event, made the finals in his division and finished 5th in the world.  We congratulate Codi on this outstanding achievement and will be following his progress over the next few years with interest.  A few Portuguese and Japanese language lessons wouldn't go astray, we feel!
