Christopher Mayo wins Prime Minister's Award for Academic Excellence

Today in Wellington, our Dux of 2016 Christopher Mayo received the Prime Minister's Award for Academic Excellence which means he is New Zealand's top achiever in the Scholarship examination results.  The Prime Minister's Award is given to the Premier Scholar with the most outstanding examination results and the highest overall academic excellence.  Christopher achieved Outstanding Scholarships in Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Classical Studies, Physics and Statistics, and Scholarships in English and Media Studies, and is the first HBHS student in our school's history to achieve the top award.  Congratulations to Christopher on this stunning achievement and we very much look forward to celebrating his success.
