Celebration of Success Breakfast

Several hundred Old Boys and Old Girls of Hamilton High School, Hamilton Boys' High School and Hamilton Girls' High School converged upon the Number One Gymnasium from 7.45am on Saturday morning to share a champagne breakfast and salute the achievements of school alumnus in the fields of business, the academy, sports and entertainment.

The event was MCed by James McOnie, 'The Crowd Goes Wild' reporter and HBHS Old Boy.  Roy Crawford, the Vice-Chancellor of Waikato University spoke on the nature of leadership, and many of the breakfast attendees had an opportunity to speak to the entire group about their recollections of school life.  The event was organised by a 'Breakfast Committee', convened by Bobbie Jarvis, and was catered by Pumice, a well-known Hamilton eatery.  The event provided all attendees with an opportunity to renew old acquaintanceships and learn more about the breadth of achievement associated with each of the schools.
