Breaking news... Football 1st and 2nd XI teams win National Titles!

We can confirm that the HBHS 1st and 2nd XI teams have won their New Zealand Secondary Schools titles!! The 1st XI beat Sacred Heart 5:4 on penalties after a 0:0 all draw after extra time. Goalkeeper Keegan Hansen slotted a penalty and then saved one, allowing Luke Woolerton to rifle home his spot kick and make history for the school. Earlier in the day the 2nd XI came from behind for the second day in a row to win 2:1 against Wellington College. Goals from Casey Sharplin and Daniel Ngungambili sealed the victory. It is HBHS' finest hour in football and will be celebrated on Wednesday in a full school assembly.
