Ben Haworth and Cameron Mailer compete with distinction at Auckland Solo Piping Competition

Benjamin Haworth (Year 12) and Cameron Mailer (Year 12) both competed at their first bagpipe solo competition this past weekend, the annual Auckland Solo Piping Competition.  Benjamin (left) placed second in the Novice Slow Air event and received a very high commendation in the Novice March event where he finished in fourth place.  Cameron (centre) received a very high commendation in the Novice Slow air event where he finished in fourth place and a high commendation in the Novice March event. These are very good results considering this was their first time competing in a solo or band competition and we congratulate them once more.
