3rd Place for Budding Web Designers

Congratulations to Steven French, Rory Donovan and Daniel Johnson who came third in the country for a secondary school team website in the TVNZ6NetguideSchool Multimedia Challenge. The team travelled to the TVNZ building in Auckland for the awards ceremony which was a hive of eager finalists. This prestigious event is hotly contested from students around the country, many of whom have been designing website for years. This was the first year these boys had learnt how to code and layout a web site and their entry can be viewed along with the other winners on the www.tvnz6netguidemultimediachallenge.co.nz site. Their website was completed for a Year 10 project in Information Technology where they had to design a site to teach others about an aspect within the school curriculum. This team chose to cover adventure sports from under the Health and Physical Education area of school. Their site delivers a great mix of unique content with easy navigation, an attractive colour scheme and subtle animation.
