2019 Athletic Sports Day

On Wednesday 27 February, HBHS made its annual trek to Porritt Stadium to contest the 2019 Athletic Sports Day in conditions that were starting to feel more than a little autumnal, particularly in the morning.  The sun shone brightly on our HBHS athletes, and we congratulate our age group champions on their efforts.  The Mighty (Argyle) House in Black bounced back from Swimming Sports to take a comprehensive win, but Taylor’s solid performance means they hold the overall lead after two events.  There’s not a lot separating our Houses at this stage, but Tait has once again left themselves a lot of work to do early in the year.  We thank and congratulate all of the athletes who competed so well, and thank Mr Todd Miller and the HPW Faculty on yet another superbly run sports day.  On a final (and winning) note, the Staff Relay team has certainly sorted that baton change issue once and for all...
