2018 Māori and Pasifika Awards Evening

On Tuesday 23 October HBHS celebrated all of the wonderful achievements of our Māori and Pasifika students in 2018.  The MC’s for the evening, Sikolasipi Faka’osilea and Dion Keogh, did a fabulous job as our hosts and the audience was treated to powerful and heartfelt performances by Te Maurea Whiritoi (without the HGHS contingent as they were celebrating their awards evening simultaneously), the Polynesian Culture Group, musical items by Noah Page, Talen Hamana and Liam Paikau, and Year 9 student Wairua Pritchard presented his award-winning speech.  We present the list of finalists and award winners with pride and congratulate them all on their efforts.
