2016 Athletic Sports Results

Yesterday at Porritt Stadiuim the mercury soared and the champions were decided at our annual Athletic Sports Day.  One record was broken, and it was a long-standing one, as Tyron Hilton set a new benchmark in the Junior 100m with a time of 11.47 seconds.  The previous record of 11.80 was set in 2002, making Tyron's accomplishment all the more impressive.  Congratulations to all of our champions, and to all of the boys who got involved with such enthusiasm in gruelling conditions.  The full list of results follows, along with the House Competition points and standings, and it is Taylor House taking an early lead over the pack.  The following places are very tight, with only two points separating the next four Houses.  As for Steel, we remain optimistic, as the only way for us is up... way up!  Finally a special thank you to Event Organiser Mr Todd Miller and all of the staff who worked so hard in the heat to make for yet another successful day.
