2010 Cultural and Performing Arts Awards
Approximately 200 family members, friends and staff attended the Cultural and Performing Arts Awards celebration on Tuesday night. The programme included a musical introduction by the Jazz Band, and was ably led by Arts Captain Tahi Fu. The Director of Arts & Culture, Mr James Sutherland, spoke about the importance of crafting musical and artistic skills. Each of the works completed by prize winners represented literally hundreds of hours of dedicated practice, for which there is no substitute.
