1st XI Football team win first National Qualifier

It was the best possible start to their National Qualification campaign yesterday, as the 1st XI notched up a victory over Trident High School, Whakatane.  In the first half Lachie McIsaac got the scoring underway and Alex Frank followed up with two additional goals to put HBHS ahead 3 - 0 at half-time.  Lachie McIsaac scored again in the second half, and after Trident pegged one back Aaron Bayliss finished the visitors off with the fulltime score sitting at a comfortable 5 - 1.  Congratulations to the team and we will continue to cover their progress.
