1st XI Football Progress Report

The 1st XI football team plays a crucial National Secondary Schools qualifiying match against Rotorua Boys' High School this Thursday 24 May at HBHS on the No 1 Football field. The team is hoping to extend its unbeaten run in the qualifying stages, after wins against Cambridge High School (5-1) and St Pauls (2-1)  and following a tense 3-3 draw against St Peters last Saturday.
 
A win on Thursday would place the 1st XI in a strong position going into their last qualifying game against Tauranga Boys' College later in the term. The top two teams from the Waikato-Bay of Plenty region will gain entry to the Lotto Premier Tournament in Nelson in Term Three, where the best 16 teams in the country do battle for the premier crown. Your support at this Thursday's game would be most appreciated, as we'd love to gain an advantage with a vocal home crowd!
